How are you going?

This winter has been so cold, dark & long. How are you going?
I’m not sure about you, but I’m just surviving. Little breaks to Sydney & self learning over some weekends have given me a break from my usual routine. What a saving grace it has been too.

Changes to my diet & eating a lot more vegetables & drinking less alcohol, I think, are a couple of key factors in surviving this winter.

How are you going?

I considered exercise but I’m just not a morning person, yet I will be doing some personal training, morning sessions with my sister soon, so I’ll keep you posted on that.

I’m booking in regular treatments with my different carers too, my chiropractor, my remedial massage therapist, my hairdresser & my beauty therapist. These routines help me regenerate & re-boot my system.

How are you going?

I love my dogs, so walking them regularly but changing our path daily is helping too. We see different things, people, dogs on our way. The changes you notice when walking with out ear plugs/phones/ music/podcasts is awesome. You are more aware of your surroundings & I think this helps your senses be more alert to the environment around you.

Waking up each morning & stating out loud what you want from your day is a challenge I set myself earlier this year, guess what? It works! Just stating that today is going to be productive/great/peaceful/fun/serious really changes the feel for the day.
